Arriving in Liverpool, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

“When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.”  -You’ll Never Walk Alone

Another night on the ferry and another midnight crossing of the Irish Sea, this time from Belfast to Liverpool.  Slept on a hard bench beside a snoring and leg twitching woman in ripped nylons and an onboard pub full of rowdy truckers.  All in all, happy to be off the ship.
 “Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart.”  -You’ll Never Walk Alone

“You’ll Never Walk Alone" is from Carousel, the 1945 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, and has been adopted by a number of soccer teams as their official anthem, and since Celtic F.C. (Scotland) and most famously, FC Liverpool, both sing the song during matches, it is appropriate to write here on a rainy storm day… arriving all beat up and sore at the Liverpool Docks.
(Oh yeah... there's also a lot of Beatles crap here too... sweet mop head wig, if you wear that you'll be alone for sure.)
 “And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never, ever walk alone.”  -You’ll Never Walk Alone

Anyway, I love this song and I love the rowdy fans and I needed it this morning.
Now... bring on the Beatles Story Museum!
