In December of 2008 Brian Hartenstein and family left America for an adventurous life overseas to live and work throughout Asia, raising three daughters with a sense of wonder and awe at the possibility of the world. It is now 2016 and the adventure continues back home in Oregon. This blog remains as a time capsule to that period. Thank you so much to all our friends around the world. Please stay in touch. We miss you all!

Christmas Jokes Off the Top of My Head
Da Nang, Vietnam: December 31st, 2012:
The following are a bunch of silly jokes I thought up while jumping with my goofy daughters into the pool hours before a thunderstorm hit on New Year's Eve... just laugh! Ok?
What is Count Dracula’s favorite time of the year?
- The Fright before Christmas
If April showers bring May flowers, what do January
- February Shivers!
What do you call Frosty the Snowman come May?
- The Yucky Puddle Boy
Where do reindeer go to dance? - Hoof Hops
do pigs sing on New Year’s Eve? -Auld Lang Swine
Yep... if I were listening to these jokes, I'd curl up into a human burrito too. Thanks, kid!
